Run the patch exe to apply the patch setup automatically.

There's no uninstall option for the patch itself.

* FIX (ANIMATIONS): some problems with ladders introduced in 1.08 (stuck on ladders, problem when going from kneel or prone on a ladder), installs animationHotFix.pbo and its signature
* FIX (LOCALIZATION): mission M13 is localized to all languages
* FIX (RUSSIAN): several missing translations in russian version, UI.pbo is modified to prevent an error message displayed in Russian version of the game when entering Single mission directory

ArmA Beta Patch 1.09

Looks like a big one, should make the game much better. I'll update the EU server to test this ASAP.

1.09 HIGHLIGHTS - MAIN NEW IMPROVEMENTS AND FIXES

* significantly smoother gameplay on Northern part of Sahrani (up to 100% increase in frame rate depending on scene, video settings and graphics card)

* combat AI improvements

* voice over net and multiplayer related fixes and improvements

* new anti cheating methods in multiplayer (including optional www.BattlEye.com depending on server settings: if enabled, be server and be client dlls will be used and automatically updated to your computer)

* fixed compatibility problems caused by various copy protections used

* fog is rendered correctly on DX10 generation cards

* new scripting functions (string manipulation, multiplayer synchronization)

To be able to launch this official beta mod with goArma, I created a file named armabeta.cmd in my ArmA folder and used it in goArma's options instead of arma.exe.
It's just a short line:
start beta\arma.exe %*
but I zipped and attached it too. How to use:

1. Unzip this attachment and move the armabeta.cmd file in your main ArmA folder.
2. Start goArma, select a profile and click EDIT to open the big window.
3. Click on Options on the top right
4. The last option is Armed Assault executable. You must replace "arma.exe" at the end with "armabeta.cmd"
5. Click on Save and then close in both windows.

Some of the config changes are ridiculous though, like the extremely low ROF for SVD or the almost absent weapon recoil effects. Gotta mod those values.

The 1.11 Beta is out.

It looks tome like this will conflict/overload your 1.09 beta. So unless you are feeling adventurous, it may be best to wait until we get this tested and decide what we are going to install on the server.

Good news. I'm installing 1.11 on the EU server.

Changes since 1.09 beta -

5205  - Fixed: MP "Head bug" - when two players were boarding passenger space of the vehicle simultaneously, one of them
might end outside of the vehicle with no control over direction of his character.
5207  - Problem was with mouse movement adaptive filtering, which handled badly transition from fast to slow motion, causing the fast motion to leak into the slow motion region.
A barrier was placed to rejected samples so that sample once rejected is not considered in any more computations.
5207  - Fixed: When fast moving with mouse, cursor sometimes jumped once more after turning was stopped.
5207  - Fixed: Players in Seagull mode cannot hear direct speech of others properly.
5209  - Fixed: When switching VON channels quickly, the VON ID indication could still show the old channel.
5209  - Fixed: Improved handling of situations where graphical card VRAM is completely exhausted.
5209  - Fixed: In some complex MP missions the memory space for network messages could be exhausted, resulting in CTD.

Here's how I did to be able to run either beta patch/mod, 1.09 or 1.11 with goArma:

1. Before installing the new patch, rename Arma\beta  to Arma\beta109.
2. Make a copy of armabeta.cmd, rename it to armabeta109.cmd and edit it. The file content will be:

start beta109\arma.exe %*

3. In goArma, whenever you need to run the 1.09 beta you must change the executable to point to armabeta109.cmd (see attached picture for example)

well I did  the patch  1.11 seen to work fine , but I got kick  from server wile testing if the game works fine

Right now the Eu server is running with JUST the 1.11 beta active, no Alpha Squad modifications.  So be sure you are launching with only the 1.11 beta active.  I was able to join without any problems

Not sure what type of techincal difficulties I'm experiencing... I have not been able to connect to the EU server. I'm also running a 1.11 (and @AS) on my dedicated, and have had no issues joining.  After talking to Bassbait briefly, he did mention he was able to connect via goArma but is also experiencing "Connection Failed" error when attempting to connect through the game.

Guess I'll give that goArma thingy a whirl..

Oddly enough the goArma solution worked. However I'm still curious as to why I can't join while in game.

After playing for about 30mins, I was then kicked from the server

Again, kicked from server after about 30mins of gameplay.

You are probably getting kicked because the signature check timeouts still. I wanted to check if they fixed that, that's why I re-enabled it, but will disable.
I'm also going to selectively add addons after checking them for compatibility with the latest beta.

That makes good sense. I have the sig checks disabled on mine, so I never really thought about it.

Any thoughts to whats up with not being able to join the EU server while in game? Or for that matter, is anyone else recieving the "Connecting failed." dialog box?

Well I have the same "Connection Error" problem when I try to join the EU server from the in game browser.
Works just fine from GoArma and Yoma...... Strange

[Update....] Played for about 20 min last night without problems, then I lost my network at home, so I did not get to test/see/experience the 30 minute signature timeout problem.

I disabled the sig check a few days ago but that's not it. I can't connect via game browser but works fine with goArma. I even disabled Battleye but still the same.
The @AS-experimental is back with a new version, instructions in the mod thread.
