I would personally go with a single GPU. I just don't see the benefit, especially at the level of card that you're buying of improved performance. EVGA is really good though, great customer service and quite good in terms of warranties. Generally, I hear that Asus makes better motherboards than MSI but honestly they're probably so similar that it doesn't even matter. And that may just be "people on the internet" talking. Also, just make sure the CPU you buy comes with pre-applied thermal paste (or if you have some to use already).

Cool build, that will last many years. Be sure the cooler is compatible with the 2011-v3 socket, that CPU generates a lot of heat. Also you may want to switch to a 4-channel memory kit, as that will take full advantage of the memory bandwidth of your CPU/motherboard.

Unless you are driving MANY monitors, I'd tend to agree that you are not likely to get your money's worth out of the dual GTX 1080 setup.

On the Memory , what B said, fill all the channels. 4x8GB and find something faster 4200+.

One vidcard, spend the money on RAM. Its all about RAM now, for more FPS.

PSU seems wrong... $88.00 for 850w ,I dont trust that for a 140w CPU and the all the fixings.

I wouldnt buy that MSI MB. The GIGABYTE GA-X99 would be better.
